There are two types of people in China, one is born in cities while the other is in the rural areas; both the accent and the identity are marked on their credentials once they are born. In order to get higher salaries, many country people go to cities for work and live there.
The second generation of the country people is the offspring of these people; they may be born in cities but are marked as the country people following their parents’ registered permanent residence. Therefore, if these parents have no money for bribery; the children have to go to the worst private schools for education. The second generation of the country people basically goes to work after leaving the junior or high schools; compared with their parents, they lack both the experience of agricultural labor and the diligent character. And at the present stage, the average age of the second generation of the country people is about 23 and about 100 million in total, of whom 80% are unmarried.
